In short

  • Netflix names three original holiday movies for November: A Dog’s Perfect Christmas, The Gospel of Christmas and Guarding Stars.
  • Disney+ has A Proud Family Wizmas on November 14 and Mickey’s Home Alone on November 27, the day after it airs on Disney Jr.
  • Prime Video’s The Man with the Bag, with Arnold Schwarzenegger as Santa, arrives on December 2.
  • Apple TV has Snoopy Presents: 12 Days of Snoopy on November 13 and Fraggle Rock: A Holiday Gift on December 4.
  • By our count, five of the 13 dated or listed titles land in Thanksgiving week, November 23 to 29.

The new holiday titles on US streaming services run from early November to at least December 4. Netflix has already started, with A Dog’s Perfect Christmas on November 4. Apple TV’s new Peanuts special and Disney+’s A Proud Family Wizmas follow on November 13 and 14, and Prime Video’s The Man with the Bag arrives on December 2. Our November streaming guide covers the month’s wider releases; this one adds the holiday premieres only and the first December dates, from each service’s own schedule or press release, checked on November 6, 2026. We have not seen these titles, so the descriptions below are drawn from what the services say about them.

Netflix

Netflix’s November page singles out three titles as its original holiday movies. A Dog’s Perfect Christmas comes from the author of A Dog’s Purpose, and its story of a family in crisis rests on a teenager, her grandfather and his basset hound. In The Gospel of Christmas, a pastor takes his family to a New York neighborhood in trouble, with Christmas as the deadline for rescuing a run-down church from foreclosure. Guarding Stars sends a bodyguard to a Montana ranch with the actor she protects, where the two pretend to be a couple.

On November 28, Salish’s 12 Games of Christmas has Salish Matter and friends competing for presents while an impostor tries to take them. The same list has other Christmas titles: A Cinderella Christmas Ball and Christmas Time Is Here on November 3, The Christmas Switch on November 12 and A Merry Christmas Wish on November 13. Netflix does not mark them as originals or say when they were made, so we have left them out of the table. Its page covers November only, so December additions are not here yet.

Disney+ and Hulu

A Proud Family Wizmas, on Saturday, November 14, is a stop-motion musical special in which Penny Proud accidentally wrecks Christmas and is talked into repairing the damage. Disney lists Kyla Pratt, Tommy Davidson and Paula Jai Parker in the cast, with guest voices including Anderson .Paak and JB Smoove.

Mickey’s Home Alone reaches Disney+ on November 27. It airs first on Disney Jr. on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, at 6:00 p.m. EST/PST, then on Disney Channel on November 30 and Freeform on December 19. Minnie has bought tickets for an Ice Palace trip, but Mickey and Pluto miss the departure and end up defending Christmas dinner from a raccoon and a weasel. Disney’s schedule also lists Dasher as a Disney+ premiere on November 28, without saying what it is, and Family Guy: The Peter Clause as a Hulu holiday special some time in November. In June 2025 the producer 9 Story Media Group announced a Dasher for Disney as a computer-animated holiday special due in 2026, based on Matt Tavares’s picture book about Santa’s reindeer; we take that to be this title.

Prime Video

The Man with the Bag has Arnold Schwarzenegger as Santa, Awkwafina as an elf who steals his bag, and Alan Ritchson as the thief he recruits to help get it back. Adam Shankman directed from a script by Allan Rice. Amazon notes that it comes 30 years after Schwarzenegger’s Jingle All the Way, and Jingle All the Way itself is on Prime Video’s list for November 1. Amazon says Prime Video comes with a Prime membership at $14.99 a month or $139 a year in the US.

In Clashing Through the Snow, on November 23, a snowstorm leaves two publishing rivals stuck at an airport, with a shared rental car as their way to New York. Amazon’s November roundup does not say whether it is a film or a series.

Apple TV

Snoopy Presents: 12 Days of Snoopy arrives worldwide on Friday, November 13, with Snoopy trying to get off Santa’s naughty list before Christmas. Apple says the music includes songs from John Legend and from Kamasi Washington with Leon Bridges, and a Laufey version of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” Fraggle Rock: A Holiday Gift follows on Friday, December 4, a musical from The Jim Henson Company with an appearance by Nicole Scherzinger. Apple’s listings show $14.99 a month after a seven-day free trial. Our Peanuts guide has the free weekends for Apple’s older Peanuts specials.

HBO Max and Paramount+

HBO Max’s November list adds The Christmas Showdown 2, an OWN holiday movie, on November 29, and says the list may not be complete. Paramount+ marks 14 of the titles it adds on November 18 as holiday films, including A Jenkins Family Christmas, Soul Santa and The First Noelle, but its list does not say which of them are new, so they are not in the table. Older favorites on these services are in our holiday classics guide.

What this list leaves out

We could not open schedules from Peacock or Hallmark+, so neither appears here. Holiday episodes of existing series are also left out. The 13 titles in the table are spread across six services. Our plan comparison has late-October prices for five of them, and for Hulu as an add-on to Disney+.
